Learn to plan and implement recovery procedures for a DB2 UDB for z/OS and OS/390, Version 7 Data Sharing installation. Expand all local recovery and disaster recovery procedures to support a DB2 data sharing environment. Get an overview of DB2 data sharing configuration and learn about checking and preparing your data sharing environment, automatic restart of members, test data sharing functions and utilities, retain locks, group restarts, rebuilding Shared Communications Area (SCA), Coupling Facility DB2 Lock Structure (LOCK1), and group buffer pool structures, automatic recovery of page sets, resolving Logical Page List (LPL) conditions, and recovery using archive log commands.
