Learn how to install DB2 UDB for z/OS V7 and migrate to DB2 UDB for z/OS V8 using the install CLIST. Participate in lectures to understand DB2 UDB for z/OS components and pointer and the processes involved to install or migrate DB2. Get hands-on experience installing and migrating DB2 UDB for z/OS through a series of lab exercises.

This is an intermediate course for individuals who install or migrate DB2 UDB for z/OS V7 to DB2 UDB V8 or installs DB2 UDB for z/OS V8.
 
prerequisites
  
 
You should also have the basic concepts and facilities of DB2, the basic concepts of SQL, MVS Time Sharing Option (TSO), and the MVS Interactive System Productivity Facility (ISPF). Equivalent work experience in an OS/390 or z/OS environment. Know how to define and allocate MVS data sets using MVS Job Control Language (JCL).

DB2 UDB for z/OS V8 Database Administration Workshop - Part 1 (CF831)
DB2 UDB for z/OS System Administration (CF850)
