Learn about the various tools and facilities available with the System i to manage change within the overall system management process. The presentation will include options available with iSeries Navigator at V5R4. We will discuss how to manage changes not only for Program Temporary Fixes for i5/OS and license program products, but also how to manage changes in the Hardware Management Console (HMC) and the Service Processor in a Logically Partitioned POWER5 System i environment. The course includes an introduction to change management facilities from IBM - Rational ClearCase and Rational ClearQuest.

This 2-day course will include hands-on activity to help you appreciate some of the facilities discussed.
