The Proventia Server IPS course introduces you to concepts, methodologies, strategies, and skills that can help you use the product effectively.

Starting with an introduction to the Proventia Server, the course identifies the main features of the product, and discusses how the product protects servers. The course then focuses on how to configure policies to ensure the server agent monitors and responds appropriately to security events. Students learn, using hands on labs, how to create effective polices, generate an agent build, and then distribute the agent build for deployment on network servers.

The final part of the course focuses on the local console, its features, and how to protect and monitor a server using the console GUI.
