Symantec Backup Exec 11.x for Windows Administration I & II
This course covers how to install and configure Backup Exec 11d for Windows Servers, create backup policies, run backup jobs, and create and run restore jobs. Students will also learn tape configuration and media rotation methods, as well as how to troubleshoot Backup Exec.
This course also covers advanced functions of Backup Exec 11d for Windows Servers, such as configuring advanced settings, managing the Backup Exec database, and using Remote Agents to protect Windows, Linux, and UNIX servers.
Advanced features and functions of Backup Exec 11d for Windows Servers are also discussed, primarily focusing on add-on agents and options that enhance the functionality of Backup Exec. A high-level overview of the Backup Exec System Recovery product is also provided.

Prerequisites
You should have working knowledge of administration and configuration of the Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 platforms, and you should have experience configuring server software and hardware. Knowledge of domain security and experience with Active Directory are recommended. Knowledge of MS-SQL Server is beneficial, but not necessary.
